Trend inspiration

I found these really useful SS14 trend forecasting videos on Vimeo that are basically motion trend boards. They helped me a lot to clarify my vision for my trend boards and potential styling.

The text is in Portuguese but I guess its testament to the creator of the videos that the trends are very easy to understand.

This video has the exact look I'm going for with my androgyny shoot. Adding that burst of colour and 80's rockstar edge.


Rio California

I liked aspects of this video because of the tropical brazilian feel it had which is integral to my Exotic Print trend.


Afro Asia America

This video gave me great inspiration for print with so many different vibrant patterns. With influences from three different continents I think its a nice take on print as opposed to singling it out to Aztec or Tribal. I definitely want to incorporate styling that is all inclusive of different cultures and their prints.
